TELEMATICS APPLICATION USER INTERFACE
A telematics project recently completed for John Deere, in which information from heavy machinery is transmitted every 15 minutes over a cellular connection to a database. The collective information is available to the fleet managers and equipment owners for nearly real-time monitoring of their machinery. View 1 displays Machine Utilization per Gear, to help fleet managers measure driver efficiency. View 2 displays fuel rate by gear for efficiency measurement as well. Views 3 and 4 display the general dashboard interface, where collective data is presented to the user upon initial login.
